Surgate can be integrated in your systems in two different ways.

1. SMTP Port Forwarding

If there is a firewall at the network entrance SMTP port( port 25) is forwarded to the
Surgate deployed inside.

2. MX Forwarding

In DNS settings Surgate gateways IP is entered as MX record. So when SMTP servers on
internet make MX query for the related domains they will find Surgate and deliver the e-mails directly to Surgate.
